Some cute stuff

Ryan has a friend in school named Gabe. They don't realize it yet, but they actually started pre-school on the same day. Gabe is a little more aggressive than Ryan and man is he loud, but they are really good friends. Gabe called Ryan today just to chat (yes it's starting already) and he asked what Ryan was doing. Ryan's reply? "Watching Peter Pam" PETER PAM!! LOL

Tonight he finished saying goodnight to Shane so I was talking to him for a minute. I must have said something funny and Ryan just went with it. He started talking and all of sudden he says, "Did you even know that I can make my ownself laugh, watch" and proceeds to say something else that must have been a gut buster. I don't even remember what he said because Shane and I were laughing so hard!

I just love when he does stuff like that.
My most favorite thing right now is the way he says weapon.

"This is a knight and this is his webbin"
WEBBIN!
This little man is too much!

A lazy Sunday

Since Ryan hasn't been feeling 100% we took it easy today. He slept in until almost 11am (with a few bouts of waking and falling back to sleep all morning)...and he's just been lounging. Every 1/2 hour or so he wants to color or play but for the most part his little but has been planted on the family's new recliner watching Power Rangers.
It's kind of nice because I've been getting a little work done today. Laundry, cleaning, shrink wrapping the windows for winter (so I'm a little late), and in between making felt wreaths for his class mates. My sissors aren't the best so my hand ends up hurting like crazy so I get a few done and then move on to something else for a bit. They are turning out quite nice! I need to have them done by tomorrow though because Tuesday is his last day of school until next year. I have 6 down, only 14 more to go...UGH!
I think next year, we are getting some wooden crafts that Ryan can paint with markers instead of a craft that kills mommy's hands. OR...A.C. Moore has a bunch of little ornaments on sale for $0.30 a piece...I think tomorrow night I might just buy $10.00 bucks worth and use them for small stocking stuffers and gifts for Ryan's class-mates. In fact that sounds even better!
Well,
Hungry bellies call...time for mom to make the dinner.

Getting ready for Christmas

Well....
We are getting ready for Christmas. Tonight we made some craft ornaments and I'm busy trying to make some home-made craft ornaments for the kids in Ryan's kindergarten class. The first one didn't turn out so well but I'm hoping that they'll get better.

Ryan is excited because we are spending Christmas day at Daddy's house. Grandma will be there too so he's excited about that. Christmas Eve is his night with me so Daddy is coming over and he couldn't be happier. I think he loves it when Shane and I are together.

Anyway...
Ryan came down with a nasty fever on Thursday, so I picked him up from school and he stayed with his Grandma on Friday. He's feeling better (no more fever) but he's getting a nice cough so I'm doing what I can to keep it from getting worse. He keeps telling me he's fine but I can tell he's not himself. He plays for a few minutes and then rests on "his" new chair.
We got invited to go to my grandma's house for an improptu birthday party for my Aunt Donna but since Ryan has been sick I didn't think that would be a great idea...I don't think anybody wants that kind of present.

Well this hot mama is off to get some more crafts done.
